Zeolite Concentrator Rotor (RTO System)

Overview

The Zeolite Concentrator Rotor System is an advanced and highly efficient environmental protection equipment designed for treating large-volume, low-concentration Volatile Organic Compound (VOC) exhaust gases.

By combining continuous adsorption and desorption technology with a Regenerative Thermal Oxidizer (RTO), the system concentrates dilute exhaust gas into a high-concentration stream before destruction. This process significantly reduces overall energy consumption and operational costs.

How It Works

The core of the system is a continuously rotating wheel honeycomb-structured with hydrophobic zeolite adsorbents. The process operates in three continuous zones:

  1. Adsorption Zone: Large volumes of low-concentration VOC gas pass through the rotor. The zeolite honeycomb adsorbs the VOCs, allowing clean, purified air to be safely discharged into the atmosphere.
  2. Desorption Zone: A small volume of hot air (approx. 180°C–220°C) strips the adsorbed VOCs from the rotor, concentrating the exhaust gas by a ratio of 10:1 to 30:1.
  3. Cooling Zone: The desorbed sector is cooled down by ambient air to restore its adsorption capacity for the next cycle.
